  1. What days does Solid Ground meet?

We have class offerings on Mondays and Wednesdays.

  1. How many months is tuition due?

We collect tuition every 4 weeks.  This equals to 7 times per year.  Some high school classes meet additional weeks.  In those cases, those classes may collect 8 times.

  1. Who do we pay?

You pay the individual tutors for the classes.  Most tutors accepts PayPal, cash, and personal checks.

  1. Where are you located?

We meet at FH@MV Baptist Church.  The address is

  1. Can I drop or add a class after registration?

You are able to drop a class before May 1 without penalty.  After May 1, there will be a fee of $5 per dropped class.  You may add a class at any time as long as the class isn’t full.

  1. Are parent volunteers required?

We do not require parent volunteers.  We do have some opportunities for parents to help, but we do not require volunteer hours.

  1. How often are supply fees due?

Supply fees are due once a year unless otherwise noted.

  1. Is this a year long commitment?

Classes are a year long commitment.  Tutors plan their classes based on having students being in the class for the entire year.

  1. Is there a lunch time?

Elementary and middle school have a built in lunch time at 1:00-1:25.  High school students can eat in their class if needed.

  1. Is there a place for my student to work in between classes?

We do have a room that is a study hall.  At this time, we do not charge for study hall.  If your student is unable to work independently or is interrupting other students, you will be charged for study hall.

  1. Do you grade and average grades?

Middle school and high school tutors do keep grades and provide progress reports periodically.  Since the parent is the educator, the progress reports are merely suggested grades.
